At-home movement for women over 40

The reason nothing worked was never your discipline

After 40 the tissue that wraps your muscles stiffens and stops gliding. That is what traps fluid, changes how your skin looks, and makes weight sit where it never used to. Lissom is a twelve-minute daily sequence built to work with that, not against it.

The reason nothing worked was never your discipline

Three things change at once, and they all land on the same tissue

Not muscle. Not fat. The connective tissue wrapped around both.

1

Hormones shift

Declining oestrogen changes how connective tissue holds water and how readily it remodels.

2

Movement narrows

The same commute, the same chair, the same few positions. Range you do not use is range you lose.

3

Sitting accumulates

Years of it, and the tissue slowly stops sliding cleanly over itself.

How Lissom works

An assessment, then a sequence built around your answers. No equipment, no gym, nothing to buy.

Answer the assessment

A minute. Where you hold stiffness, what your days look like, what your joints will tolerate.

Get your sequence

Built from your answers, with anything your knees, back, neck or hips rule out removed automatically.

Twelve minutes a day

At home, in what you are already wearing. Decompression, glide work, drainage, then gentle reintegration.

It moves as you do

Week three progresses you. Week four deloads and remeasures. The plan keeps pace.

Whether this is for you

We would rather you knew now than found out in week two.

A good fit if

  • You are over 35 and something changed that diets did not explain
  • You have twelve minutes, not an hour
  • Sensitive knees, a stiff back or a sore neck have ruled out most programmes
  • You have not trained in years and want to start where you actually are
  • You would rather understand the mechanism than be shouted at

Not for you if

  • You want a number promised by a date
  • You are looking for a meal replacement or a supplement
  • You are training for a specific sport and need strength programming
  • You want results without doing the twelve minutes

Questions

How long does a session take?

Between eight and fifteen minutes, at whatever frequency you chose in the assessment.

Do I need equipment?

No. Everything is bodyweight. A mat is optional and a chair is occasionally useful.

I have knee and back problems. Can I still do this?

That is largely what the assessment is for. Movements your joints rule out are removed and replaced with an easier version, automatically.

How quickly will I see something?

Stiffness usually eases within days. Clothes tend to fit differently before the scale moves at all, which is why we ask you to measure your waist rather than weigh yourself.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once for the plan you choose.

What if it is not for me?

Email us and we will refund you. No phone call, no retention script.
